Investor brief

Here is what Edge Orbital is building and what it still needs to prove.

This page is company background, not an offer to invest.

Edge Orbital Inc

A Delaware C corporation based in New Orleans.

Patent applications

Edge Orbital has patent applications in progress. The USPTO has not published them yet.

1 app shipped

Tripwire Recon is on the App Store.

Edge Orbital is developing NowScape.

NowScape is software that turns everyday photos and video into a 3D view of a real place that keeps updating. Teams could use it to find people, places and things in that view.

NowScape keeps real places current for the people who work in them and move through them. It does not simulate a place.

Edge Orbital plans to use NowScape in three ways first: for field teams, in a clip-on device for walking home, and in mixed-reality games such as Tripwire Recon.

Edge Orbital still needs to prove three things.

01

NowScape needs to build an accurate 3D view from ordinary photos and video.

02

The view needs to update fast enough to be useful while people are working.

03

Teams need to find it useful in their daily work.

Edge Orbital has one product out and two in development.

Clip-on device

The clip-on device would use NowScape to show what’s moving near you on a walk home. It still has to be built and tested.

Founder

Christopher Wolff has been mapping real places since 1995.

Christopher directed the City of Tucson’s street survey project in 1995 and developed the city’s digital orthophoto project. He has since built wireless networks, a data center in Tucson and city networks in New Orleans. That experience shapes how Edge Orbital is building NowScape; it does not prove that NowScape works.
